Saturday, 11 October 2025 – Cowles Stadium, Christchurch

Get ready to witness history in the making as College Park Hoops brings you the College Park Classic, a one-of-a-kind basketball event featuring some of New Zealand’s most exciting talent and personalities. From grassroots players to former pros, and even some of the country’s favourite celebrities, this event is set to unite communities and generations through the love of the game.

The day kicks off with an attempt to break records by hosting the largest game of basketball in New Zealand history, with over 100s of participants from all walks of life taking the court in a continuous, rolling-format matchup from 9:00am to 7:00pm. As the sun sets, the arena lights up for the Celebrity All-Star Game (7:30pm–9:00pm) — an action-packed showcase featuring entertainers, athletes, and influencers in an unmissable head-to-head. To close out the night, the South Island All-Star Game (9:30pm) will spotlight the region’s top high school talent in a thrilling final showdown.
